What an honor it was to be recognized by the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence as one of the first 100 plus leaders working to improve the lives of domestic violence survivors and their families. I am thankful to The Network Against Domestic Violence of Enfield CT for their nomination.
I also want to thank Meaghan Scanlon of CCA/DV for inviting me to be the Key note speaker and be interviewed by NBC CT’s Taylor Kinzler and discuss the effects of domestic violence and help bring awareness at the CCA/DV 13 th Annual Breakfast & Awards Ceremony. What a great morning! The Carol Rivest Memorial Foundation team, and Brenda Choinard and Marie Joanne Arre added to the day by being by my side and reminding me to breathe.
