The Carol Rivest Memorial Foundation is excited to introduce Carol’s Community Care Connector where we will be hosting local pop-up events with rotating offerings to give back to the community. Stay tuned for future events such as laughter yoga with Robert Rivest and more professional clothing drives with resource support to help educate, heal, and inspire individuals. Through Carol’s Community Care Connector we aim to engage with our local communities and give back at the grass-roots level.
On Wednesday May 17th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM we held our first event at the Hitchcock Academy in Brimfield, MA providing Gently-Used Business Professional and Casual Attire for those in need. This event is free of charge for any individual within our surrounding communities needing attire, resources, or support in preparing for any type of interview or professional opportunity such as a job interviews, school meetings, legal appointments, housing interviews, and other types of settings.
Thank you to Hitchcock Academy for hosting our first event and to the individuals who donated clothing items to help build our interview for future clothing drives.
Contact Sheila Rivest at carolrivestfoundation@outlook.com for future event hosting, clothing donations, or volunteering opportunities.
